AVR cao cấp của Onkyo (chỉ sau 3100), tích hợp sẵn amp 9 kênh, mạch giải mã 11 kênh (pre out), chỉ kém 3100 thiếu 2 kênh còn lại mạch giải mã, cs y chang nhau, sử dụng DAC AKM 4490 cao cấp cho kênh L&R và 2 DAC 4458 cho các kênh còn lại (Denon 7200wa cũng dùng DAC 4490, ANthem 1120 chỉ dùng 4458 thôi)
Nói về AVR xem film thì Onkyo luôn có chất tiếng trong, sáng và uy lực (mạch công suất làm tốt và thường lớn hơn các hãng khác cùng tầm giá)

200wpc tại 8om, 375wpc tại 4om, Made in USA, nặng 35kg, nguồn xuyến, chất âm tiệm cận mức high end (gần với tube), 5w đầu chạy ClassA - sau là AB.

- Pow này chạy 5w đầu là Class A, sau đó mới chuyển qua AB nên tiếng rất ấm, dùng đến 6 tụ nguồn 33.000uf (sum= 198.000uf) của Nichicon Japan; Thành phần quan trọng nhất trong pow là Biến thế do ATI sản xuất (thương hiệu OEM rất nhiều pow cao cấp cho Theta, Mark Levinson, Lexicon...... Toàn hàng high - end).
- Input RCA và jack cắm loa mạ vàng;
