Trò chơi vương quyền (tựa gốc tiếng Anh: Game of Thrones) là một loạt phim truyền hình giả tưởng của Mỹ được sáng lập bởi David Benioff và D. B. Weiss. Bộ phim chuyển thể dựa trên loạt tiểu thuyết giả tưởng A Song of Ice and Fire của tác giả George R. R. Martin, tập đầu tiên của tiểu thuyết có tên A Game of Thrones. Phim được quay tại Titanic Studios ở Belfast, và ở những nơi khác như Vương quốc Anh, Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco, Tây Ban Nha, và Hoa Kỳ. Mùa thứ nhất công chiếu trên HBO tại Hoa Kỳ vào ngày 17 tháng 4 năm 2011, mùa 7 kết thúc vào ngày 27 tháng 8 năm 2017. Mùa 8 là mùa cuối cùng đã phát sóng tập đầu tiên vào tháng 4 năm 2019 và tập cuối vào ngày 19 tháng 5 năm 2019.

Nằm trên các lục địa hư cấu của Westeros và Essos, bộ phim có những mạch truyện riêng biệt và một dàn diễn viên lớn. Câu chuyện đầu tiên là sự nối tiếp sau một cuộc xung đột giữa các triều đại cạnh tranh để kế vị Ngai Sắt của bảy vương quốc, với các gia đình quý tộc khác đấu tranh để được độc lập khỏi ngai vàng. Câu chuyện thứ hai là sự cố gắng đòi lại ngai vàng của người cháu cuối cùng thuộc triều đại cầm quyền đã bị lật đổ; câu chuyện thứ ba là những mối đe dọa của mùa đông sắp đến mang theo những sinh vật huyền thoại và những người du mục trong Man tộc của miền Bắc.

The World at War (1973-74) là một bộ phim truyền hình tài liệu Anh gồm 26 tập nêu lên những sự kiện trong Thế Chiến Thứ Hai. Tại thời điểm hoàn thành năm 1973, nó là bộ phim có kinh phí lớn nhất (900,000 Bảng Anh).[1] Bộ phim được sản xuất bởi Jeremy Isaacs, người đọc lời bình là Laurence Olivier và được soạn nhạc bởi Carl Davis. Cuốn sách, The World at War, của tác giả Mark Arnold-Forster và xuất bản năm 1973 đi cùng với bộ phim.

Những cuộc phiêu lưu của thám tử Sherlock Holmes là tên của series phim truyền hình dựa trên tác phẩm cùng tên của nhà văn Conan Doyles. Bộ phim được sản xuất bởi công ty truyền hình Anh Granada Television trong khoảng thời gian 1984-1994. Tuy nhiên chỉ có 2 phần đầu của loạt phim được mang cái tên này. Bộ phim được trình chiếu trên mạng ITV của Anh, trong đó Jeremy Brett đóng vai vị thám tử nổi tiếng. Sau này ông được xem như là hình tượng điện ảnh cho nhân vật Sherlock Holmes, mặc dù nó vẫn là một chủ đề gây nhiều tranh cãi. Người bạn và người cộng sự trung thành của Holmes, bác sĩ Watson được xây dựng rất xuất sắc trong 2 series đầu qua sự thể hiện của David Burke. Sau đó, diễn viên này đã quyết định từ chối trong các series tiếp theo để có nhiều thời gian hơn cho gia đình. Diễn viên thay thế David Burke là Edward Hardwicke đã tiếp tục thể hiện vai Watson trong toàn bộ các phần còn lại.

True Detective được kể đan xen giữa hiện tại và quá khứ. Câu chuyện mở đầu tại Louisiana, Mỹ vào năm 1995, khi một thi thể phụ nữ được phát hiện trên cánh đồng hoang với đôi gạc nai trên đầu cùng phần lưng bị vẽ một biểu tượng kỳ quái. Được giao thụ lý vụ trọng án này, hai thám tử Martin Hart (Woody Harrelson) và Rustin Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) cùng phối hợp để tìm ra thủ phạm.

Martin và Rust tuy là đồng nghiệp được cấp trên xếp cặp để phá án, song bản thân họ lại gần như chẳng có điểm gì tương đồng từ phong cách làm việc cho tới cuộc sống riêng tư. Martin là một điều tra viên có tâm nhưng nóng tính, dễ bị cảm xúc chi phối.

Trái lại, Rust luôn mang vẻ lạnh lùng trầm ngâm, ẩn đằng sau đó là một con mắt lão luyện trong việc phá án, không bỏ sót các manh mối dù là nhỏ nhất và có thể “đọc vị” mọi tên tội phạm. Martin có một gia đình êm ấm với người vợ đẹp Maggie (Michelle Monaghan) cùng hai cô con gái kháu khỉnh nhưng vẫn có những mối quan hệ ngoài luồng để thỏa mãn bản thân. Rust lại có một quá khứ đen tối và sống khép kín đến mức có thể bị coi là lập dị.

Bất chấp những khác biệt ấy, bộ đôi này vẫn sát cánh để lần theo những dấu vết. Từ những gì họ tìm được, dường như vụ án mạng trên cánh đồng không phải là tội ác đầu tiên và cuối cùng được thực hiện theo cách thức bí ẩn đó. Martin cùng Rust phát hiện ra từng có một bé gái mất tích 5 năm trước cũng như các biểu tượng bí ẩn ở hiện trường được lặp lại ở nhiều nơi khác họ đặt chân tới. Điều đó dẫn tới suy đoán, rất có thể họ đang phải đối đầu với một tên giết người hàng loạt...

Tới năm 2012, Rust và Martin được thẩm vấn riêng rẽ bởi hai điều tra viên khác, với nội dung cùng về vụ án 17 năm trước mà họ cuối cùng cũng đã tìm được thủ phạm. Các câu hỏi không chỉ liên quan tới vụ trọng án mà còn xoáy vào đời tư của bộ đôi năm nào, khiến họ không khỏi nghi ngờ phải chăng những gì xảy ra năm 1995 vẫn chưa phải là dấu chấm hết?

Firefly là một bộ phim truyền hình space-Western (phim viễn tây trong vũ trụ) của Mỹ được phát hành từ năm 2002 - 2003, do chính đạo diễn Joss Whedon của The Avengers (2012) sáng tạo ra.

Show lấy bối cảnh vào năm 2517, sau những bước tiến vượt bậc của khoa học, con người đã có thể du hành xuyên thiên hành. Firefly theo chân phi hành đoàn của tàu Serenity, một phi thuyền không gian hạng "Firefly". Phi hành đoàn của Serenity bao gồm 9 người với 9 cách nhìn cuộc sống khác nhau.

Chính như đạo diễn Joss Whedon đã nói “show này về 9 người nhìn vào màu đen của vũ trụ va thấy 9 thứ khác nhau”. Trong tương lai, hai cường quốc duy nhất còn sống sót là Hoa Kỳ và Trung Quốc, 2 đất nước này hợp nhất để thành lập chính phủ liên bang trung ương, được gọi là the Alliance (Tạm dịch: Liên minh).

Năm 2022, sau sự cố thử nghiệm cổng dịch chuyển, Trái Đất trở nên không thể sinh sống được nữa và con người phải tìm nơi ở mới. Năm 2071, con người đã chinh phục được hầu hết hệ mặt trời và Sao Hỏa đã trở thành Trái Đất mới của loài người. Nhưng song song đó, các thế lực tội phạm cũng vươn mình và chi phối chính quyền làm lực lượng công an bị mất gần hết sức mạnh. Để giải quyết vấn đề này, hệ thống săn tiền thưởng đã được thành lập và những thợ săn tiền thưởng, hay còn gọi là Cao Bồi xuất hiện. Câu chuyện xoay quanh con tàu Bebop với các thành viên là Spike, Jet và sau đó là Faye, Ein và Ed thực hiện các nhiệm vụ để kiếm tiền sống qua ngày.
