Trước đó ko lâu, anh trai cô - Velkan (Will Kemp) - vì cứu cô đã trở thành ma sói và bị Dracula khống chế. Trong cuộc chiến giành con trai của tiến sĩ Frankenstein - quái vật Frankenstein (Shuler Hensley), Van Helsing đã giết chết Velkan trong lốt ma sói, nhưng chính anh cũng bị ma sói cắn.
