There are two version of the film on the disc: the 2018 restoration and a significantly scratchier version that isn't cleaned up, but appears to be in sync with the main version. I've taken the restored video but combined it with the unrestored audio, because most of the audio tracks from the restored version have heavy noise reduction applied which makes them sound like crap. The "retro" audio has some magnetic hiss (as it would have in cinemas, given that it wasn't produced with the Dolby noise reduction process) but also sounds less muffled. For that reason, I combined the two playlists for a sort of "best of both worlds" remux: Snake in the Eagle's Shadow / 蛇形刁手 1978 1080p Remux AVC FLAC 1.0. I hadn't realised when initially submitting the remux that I wasn't permitted to include all the audio, since only original language is allowed on remuxes (in this case excluding Mandarin, English, and German, as well as the isolated music & effects track) so the remux as uploaded only has the original Cantonese track in its unrestored form since I think the noise reduction on the main version sounds bad. The whole disc with all the audio and bonus content has been requested though, so here you go.

All the audio on the disc is mono, despite being 2.0, which I checked by going through them all and inverting one of the channels then combining them; in every single case, they precisely cancelled out, which confirms that they were originally 1.0 but had been duplicated and had the additional track encoded in 2.0 for a "dual mono" presentation. The German dub is of course the default but that's easily changed. Finally, two tracks are identical on both versions of the film: the German dub and the English with alternate music (I haven't checked if they're both full of noise reduction or not, but they didn't present two versions like they did with the others). They're digitally identical, not just similar.
