Vivid Originally issued in 2000, VIVID continues Michael Lington's creative forays into smooth jazz. Along with his sumptuously mellow, chilled-funk approach, Lington goes a little exotic here as well, working some sultry Brazilian rhythms into the mix. His sax can be alternately Kenny G sweet and Warren Hill boisterous, and there's also a nice mix of vocals and instrumentals throughout.
